Saturday, January 30, 2010 > news archive Lunar Sports Group Adds a Leatherneck NEW YORK, NY - Lunar Sports Group has signed Matt Warner, tight end out of Western Illinois for representation heading into the 2010 NFL Draft. Warner possesses great speed for a tight end which allows for a number of big plays down the field. This season he had two touchdowns over 60 yards and as a junior Matt averaged 30.4 yards per catch, the highest average by a tight end in school history. In addition to his receiving capabilities, he was a strong blocker for the nation's leading rusher and the country's seventh-ranked rushing offense in 2008. Warner has also displayed toughness and durability as he played in 44 straight games for the leathernecks. Pat Capra will be handling the contract negotiations for Warner.
